NEURO-OPHTHALMOLOGIST

Dr. Mansouri completed his MD at The Tehran University of Medical Sciences, a PhD in the Department of Neurology and Neurosurgery at McGill University, a postdoctoral fellowship in the Department of Ophthalmology at McGill University, and a residency with the Section of Neurology at the University of Manitoba.
Dr. Mansouri completed his fellowship training in neuro-ophthalmology at Mass Eye and Ear Infirmary, Massachusetts General Hospital, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and Harvard Medical School. He joined the University of Manitoba in 2013 as an Assistant Professor. From 2018 to 2020, he served as an Associate Professor within the Department of Ophthalmology and the Department of Internal Medicine (Section of Neurology) and was an adjunct faculty member with the Biomedical Engineering Graduate Program.
Since 2020, he has been in private practice and is the director of neuro-ophthalmology at Brain, Vision and Concussion Clinic in Winnipeg.
He has published over 70 peer-reviewed publications, focusing on concussion, post-concussion syndrome, migraine, cognitive function, and visual abnormalities.
